MilliTalk - Call and Text over Wi-Fi/3G/4G/LTE App Reviews

Downloaded and set up the app, bought $10 worth of credit, tried to send and receive text messages - nothing. Tried to and from multiple numbers - nothing. Contacted support and they were no help. Said I needed to contact Apple for a refund. Rip-off.

When I try to call some one it takes me back to home screen and wont let me call no matter what. But When it dose work it works like a charm.

When I use it I couldnt tack the person cept saying hello

Every time Id be connected to a place with wifi it would say can not make a call and it would say try deleting this app and try again

I started using this app and the only thing its good for is crashing. It would be perfect if it was called the crash app.

I have been using this App for a couple of years with no problems, paid version and now it hasnt worked in 3 days, saying it offline. Please fix and I will give it a 5 Stars

Truly amazing and effective app. I fly international for a major carrier and needed something intuitive and reliable. I got more! Whenever you have WiFi you have a clear connection back to the states. Unexpected bonus is that when someone either calls me or leaves message I receive an email providing heads up. As a global traveller, this is one of my favorite apps! Doing a pile on review months later... The Tech Support is flawless! Easy to reach a human and they genuinely care. Oct 15,2015 update will not complete, Can not open it anymore, it disappeared from my iPad

This app has a number of bugs that have not been addressed, during the three months I’ve been using it. Here are the most annoying ones, that haven’t been fixed as of October 9, 2015. 1) The app goes offline for reasons that aren’t clear, during which text messages are not received. The only way I’ve found to get the app back online, is to close the app, then restart it. Once that’s done, the messages missed, while offline, are received. 2) When attempting to add a phone number to the contact list, the first name field is completely obscured, in other words, one can’t see what they are typing into that field, because the menu header completely covers it up. 3) When attempting to exit the add a contact dialog, there is no escape. Selecting “done” or “cancel” does not exit the dialog. The app is essentially locked up. A close and restart app sequence is needed, before one can do anything else in the app. 4) When texting, it can be frustrating to try to scroll backwards, in the text entry box, to make a correction or deletion. For instance, when pasting text into this field, it’s nearly impossible to edit more than the last two lines shown in the box. This app also quits unexpectedly, at various times during usage. In other words, it’s not stable. Update: The latest release, as of 10/15/15, has a new look, but is even more buggy than the prior version. Text that extends past the end of the text window is invisible. In other words, you cant see what your typing in this version, once the text reaches the end of the first line.

I love this app! It works just like a phone on my IPad -- I use this app at least once a day and honestly I have never had any issues with it! IT ROCKS! Especially if you only have an iPod but want to make phone calls!

I love the app. Been using it for few years now n its been great but since September 2015 its been acting weird. Please fix the bugs please. And when u contact support I love that you can actually reach a human right away! /////////////////////////////////// I love this app. The voice quality is terrific. Definitely worth it. ///////////////////////////////// I call my mom n Mexico and the quality is not that good even if Im on wifi. Great app but needs improvements. Please work on it so you can get my 5 stars again.

Its a pretty awesome app when working right but it goes offline for no reason for days until you re-install it. Fix this and it will be the best app of its kind

Its a really good app

My wife really likes this app, 2cents a minute to Thailand really good deal But, the only real problem, keep getting calls from an collection agent looking for some person other than myself how can I get them to stop calling this number (twice daily) I get a call annoying as hell, have called back the number a few times no answer Great app

Your app is great. Used it keep in contact with business, friends, and family while in Europe and for all my calls in several countries during my stay overseas. The price you charge would make a Scotsman blush. To prospective users: Dont hesitate to sign up. I highly recommend this app to friends and family.

When it works Millitalk is great. The problem is that it is a shoddy piece of technology that constantly fails which constantly requires that I call customer service. I have not had problem free service for more than two weeks in a row for a year and a half. No one in customer can make a permanent fix or l tell me, after Ive asked repeatedly for an explanation, why the same problems keep recurring. Good when it works but completely unreliable. Would like to recommend it but cant.

It works as good, if not better than any other expensive service.
