MilliTalk - Call and Text over Wi-Fi/3G/4G/LTE App Reviews

This is an update to the review I originally wrote below. The app is NOT reliable!! I have wasted more time emailing back and forth with support because the phone stopped ringing, and calls stopped going to voicemail. It is my only source for a phone. Three emails were wasted as they kept sending me instructions how to force quit the program! I kept saying I had but got the same instructions again. Then they said my wifi router (time capsule) could be blocking their connection so I called Apple Care. They asked if the phone EVER worked. Yes. Then its not the wifi or it would have never worked. Then the lasts time I called (Friday2/6/) I explained everything to the person on the other end who then told me he was just customer support and transferred me to technical support, where I was on hold a long time. I repeated the issue to tech support and then he said he will have to let the programmers know...who of course were not in because they are east coast and I am west coast and they had gone home. I had major frustration and wasted time and they didnt even offer to give my account credit. I called again the next morning and was told they were having a problem where users werent getting calls and it had been fixed. Quit the program and restart it!! GOD!!! Thats what I kept saying and I went four days without calls or messages!! I guess they had to wait for others to complain before they believed me! I would no longer recommend them to anyone and told them if I have more issues I will pay for a Skype or Google Talk number or buy a track phone. So there is my updated review and now here is my original review so you can compare: Got rid of my cell phone through Verizon (a smart phone) and kept a 2 Gig data package for my Ipad. My bill just went from $103 a month to $30 a month AND I purchased originally $20 of Millitalk minutes just to test it out and now that I use it full time due to no cell I have tons of minute credits left and Ive talked a LOT using the app!! I am pretty satisfied except for three issues: 1) You cannot text multiple people in a group at once--not good, especially when you are giving out your new number. 2) When I open the App it says I am Offline which makes calls go to voice mail. It should ring and be online without having to have the app open all the time. 3) Very important....when updating contact info such as on Paypal or any other place that will send a "confirmation" code via text..you dont get the text which means its not supported..that is a serious flaw!! Just continue with fixing issues and improving the program and Ill stay with it. Otherwise there is Google Talk or Skype.

It said it was FREE! I wanted 2 make a 2nd phone call but wouldnt let me

It says you can make one free call but as soon as I tried to make the call it said I didnt have credit and wanted to charge me actually money!

This is app, ohhh this app is horrible! I called my friend ONE time, then I go to call my other friend. App crashes. I try to text my mom. App crashes. This is horrible. Just go get a different app.

I know you probably think that this app will be free. But it requires real money to call people please do not get this game

I hate it when I am making a long distance phone call and suddenly I get disconnected cause I dont have more credit., then I add more money and disconnected again..

Ive used this APP of an on over a few years and it has worked well. Over the last few days APP has not worked and the fixes that customer service has recommended have not worked. The last fix was to delete app off phone and re-install. Which I did. Now I am unable to log back in?? Please fix

Add free calling to US&Canada, messaging and improved accessibility. excellent app I recommended to anybody very clear and the tech-support is always very helpful thank you

it never worked for calling Iran, call support service was not helpful. it works for Europe but too expensive

I travel around the world and have tried other programs such as Skype. Millitalk works the best. I use it all the time and have turned on several coworkers to it and they all love it as well.

Service down for 6 hours so far today, called Support and they are working on it. Service was down for 4 hours a week ago. So unreliable, I cant depend on it.

Cheap international calls, I hardly use my home phone

Well this app its its good but its not that good you want something thats free and you really dont want to pay for it like 340 credits or something like that then dont this app

when Im trying to make a call it will not go threw please fix this problem
